Have you tried making pizza with your kids at home? It’s very simple and a lot of fun for the kids. Being a working mom, I always need to find fast dinner solutions, so instead of making my own pizza dough, I just buy the pre-made dough. You can also get the organic kind too. You can prepare different toppings and just let the kids be creative with it. Here’s my recipe:
What you need:
- Pre-made pizza dough
- Sliced veggies of your choice (zucchini, mushrooms, broccoli, peppers all work very well)
- Tomato or alfredo sauce for the base
- Mozzarella cheese
- Cooked bacon, sausage, chicken or peperoni
What to do:
- Pre-heat your oven
- Divide the dough into small balls
- Roll the balls flat to make mini pizza base
- Spread either tomato or alfredo d sauce on top of it depending on your liking
- Spread cheese evenly on top of the pizza
- Lay your veggies out evenly
- Spread another layer of cheese
- Bake the pizza for about 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees (until the crust is golden brown)
That’s it. Super simple.
